Some interesting ways to reuse your old sarees

 Saree is an evergreen attire but the trends in the attire keep on changing which makes it important to experiment it with changes and more trends so that the look fashionable. Sarees have been the best option for any party and can be used as a last resort. We will be keep thinking how about the old sarees that are their in the wardrobe ? Understand and agree that wearing a same saree will be boring and should not end up in buying a new sarees . Trendy women always wish to look unique and should also keep budgets in the mind  , So without thinking , try exploring a new ideas how to reuse your old saree with a simple twists. This article will discuss a few tips and tricks to help make your old sarees look new and in fashion.

Tip Number 1: Experiment with a half and half saree

There are innumerable sarees lying in your wardrobe for ages. This time when you are cleaning your closet during Diwali, do take out a few sarees, which need to be renovated or rather reconstructed to make them wearable. Combine two of these to create a new piece with or without the border. The half and half saree can be carried in a flowing pallu or in a pleated manner depending on the combination of sarees. You can add some touch up’s by adding a belt on the saree or add some embellishments with pearls , stones or kundans to get an ethnic look to your saree.

Tip Number 2: Add a border to refresh the look :- 

Some printed sarees which we have worn a number of times needs to be revamped by adding some interesting work borders to it. Designer borders are readily available in the  market  and are reasonable. Do try out and add a border to the saree or tassels to give it a heavy festive look. Adding a mirror work or a gottapati  border to a plain saree can convert an old saree to a traditional new one, which can be worn for Diwali parties as well. Such borders can also be created from other sarees, which have probably torn or worn out.

Tip No. 3: Add a new blouse for the new look for the saree

This season rather than changing your favorite saree, you would hate to part with, experiment with different blouses. Combine it   jamawar or a Banarasi blouse stitched in a different pattern. Add a key hold design to make it look new and fashionable or you can make a twist on the sleeves . You can also team up your saree with a T-Shirt blouse or a bell-sleeved blouse if the saree matches well with the same. You can even try a peplum blouses on your old sarees to make a statement look.

Tip No 4. Create your own fusion look

Get an appointment with the tailor or the designer and take all your old sarees to create a fusion look. Create a dhoti saree mix and match it with a skirt to add glamour to the fabric. It will be a complete makeover without spending much for the new fabrics.  You can even explore an option of  making a saree pants with contrast designer blouse.

It is not always important to spend thousands to create a masterpiece for the occasions.
