Reuse the old Silk sarees with a twist

The fashion changes at an ever-accelerating pace, and the sarees work 3-4 times becomes un-wearable in the same manner as it becomes common. The silk sarees, in particular, have a lot of monetary, as well as the emotional values associated with it. Throwing them off is usually never an option, and keeping them long enough would just make it another unused piece in the wardrobe for ages. This season use these silk sarees to create new attires with a twist to assure a better use of the same. Here are few options how to re use your old sarees! Have a glance.

Lehengas: Lehengas are just so much in fashion these days. Pick up any saree you are ready to experiment with and convert it into a new lehenga. These lehengas look extremely exclusive and can be used with the same blouse and a contrast duppatta.  Check out the below options!

Anarkali/ Kurta :- The best way to reuse the  old silk saree  is making  floor length Anarkali . You can bring the plain contrast to yoke and rest of the saree making the remaining part of the anarkali. These Floor length silk anarkali’s are going high. Team up the contrast duppatta.

Culottes/ Palazzos: The ankle length loose pants are so in now. Use these trendy silk culottes with shirts and tops for the ultimate indo-western look. You can also try out using a printed silk for culottes accompanied with the top made of pally for complete and perfect attire.

Skirts: If the material does not permit too much flair, try out making a skirt instead of a lehenga. It looks glamorous if teamed with a plain shirt and accessorized well with earrings and a traditional purse.

Create them into duppatta with:

Lehenga  : Although the “in trend” fashion is completely becoming western with no duppatta, but the grace of carrying a duppatta for a perfect traditional look is indispensable. So if you are not ready to part with your saree make two pretty duppatta and team them up with your lehenga .

Suit: Another great option is to use the complete saree or a part of it as a duppatta on your lehenga and give a twist to the top with a cape sleeves.  Our celebrities shows how to rock a traditional lehenga with a twist with the top.  Accessorize it with silk and metal tassels to make it look even prettier

Create tops from them:

Crop top: It’s not only the lowers where the silk pieces can be used. Many times, there is a small tear in the saree, which makes it difficult for the designer to get the required material to create a lehenga. Do not get disheartened; cut it and stitch it into a beautiful crop top and team it up with  long skirt .

Kurtis: Use the pallu of the saree to create the front and the rest of the material for the back of the Kurti. If well planned the saree is big enough to take a dupatta out of it also.

Gowns: Using the pallu or a new material for the York and the rest for completing the gown can create a masterpiece, which might not be available in the stores. You can create a new avatar to look just stunning at the evening party.

So this season, rather than going for the wedding shopping and behaving spendthrift, plan out an appointment with your designer and create masterpieces rather than buying one.
