You can choose a  lehenga with kurta or you can team up crop top on same lehenga with duppata or lehenga with peplum top or full length Anarkali or a two layered Anarkali with a jacket and team them up with a straight pant  or legging.  Sharara suits with short top also go good for sangeet and mehendi function event and these outfits are easy to carry. Remember to buy or arrange for the jewelry and shoes and they would play an important role for the final look.

Wedding

Avoid the bridal colors. Remember you are not the bride; so do not wear too much jeweler. It’s not unusual to see guests loaded with jewelry. Pick up the color as per you choice but prefers darker tones if it’s an evening wedding. For day wedding beige and gold also does wonders. Use gold to enhance the color of the garment.
