Well we all know that Akhil got engaged to shriya bhupal on december 9th and it was cancelled due to some family reasons. After this incident for few days akhineni family was avoided talking to media.

Recently on a social network site Akhil has posted a message about his mother. Akhil Akkineni who is the ladla of Amala & nagarjuna has posted a message in  twitter that his mother Amala has been awarded with Nari shakti purashkaar on the eve of women’s . He congratulated his mother for this achievement.
