Director shanker who won many hearts with his direction. On 27th june 2021 his elder daughter Aishwarya got married with cricketer Rohit Damodharan and the wedding took place at Welcome Hotel on the East Coast Road, Mahabalipuram. Keeping the Covid-19 regulations in mind, director Shankar and his wife Eshwari invited only family members for the wedding. We see Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin and Udhayanidhi Stalin attended the wedding.

For the wedding Aishwarya was seen in traditional and heavy red and gold combination kanjeevaram saree paired with matching elbow length sleeve embroidery work blouse and she has accessorized her traditional look with gold and diamond guttapusala haram and unique style jewellery and on other hand Rohit was seen in embroidery work dhoti and kurta. The both looked adorable.
